Proverbs 3:5,6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

The word "trust" is used in the OT in (1) literal physical sense: to physically lean upon something for support and (2) figurative sense: to rely upon someone or something for help or protection

The “heart” functions as a metonymy of subject encompassing mind, emotions and will

"Acknowledge" The verb yadah, “to know” includes mental awareness of who God is and the consequential submission to his lordship. To know him is to obey him.

(Notes adapted from the NET Bible)

Teach me to trust You with all that I am, Father - mind, emotions and will. Show me what it is to acknowledge You in all things, in all of life.

Oh yes! I am in a place in my life now where I have to Trust Him completely to provide for me, and I am more free than I have ever been.

This is also the verse that God moved me from California to Texas on. I love it.

I wanted to tell you thank you for praying for my friend. I can't even begin to express how much she needs it and how much I appreciate it. God Bless you my dear sister.

Edie, it sounds like that was quite the faith-filled move! Sometimes we're called to do things (or not do things) that just don't make much sense to the watching world(like Abraham or Noah, only on a much smaller scale!)...it's so good to know that God has all the details under control, isn't it? :)
I'll continue to pray for your friend...and I hope you have a lovely weekend!
