On a cold day in March...

... (but with sun that warms your skin) Loris had plans. Plans that involved a cozy restaurant and roses at our table... ....................................................................................................................

and trail riding at a beautiful little ranch (because I love horses, and even though he had never ridden and was slightly nervous)...

a slight detour (which is another story) and a picturesque walk in the city... ......................................

and finally, the best of all...

Loris asked me to marry him!

And of course, I said yes!

With, admittedly, many tears of happiness. Really though, what girl wouldn't cry with such a beautiful speech and poem written for her? Do you want to read the poem? Maybe I'll post it...

I really am overwhelmed with the goodness of God in giving me such a special fiance.

Steph, I know we have never met face to face, but I also know we're friends. I am so happy for you! It's wonderful to see God answer desires after reading your posts for so long.
