4 Reasons to Love Fall...

Crackly leaves underfoot...

October-blue skies overhead...
Scarves (especially scarves that you have proudly knit yourself!)...

And let's not forget...It's pumpkin time at Tim Hortons! (If you're not from Canada I'm sad to say you're missing out...although maybe Dunkin' Donuts has an equivelent?)

While I love Fall, we don't have the fall leaves..nor the october skies you have in Canada...but the weather does get better, but knitting scarves I enjoy at any time throughout the year! Did you knit that one you're wearing??
By the way Steph thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog, the truth is you have been an encouragement to me, I'm so glad to be your friend and even more your sister in Christ it truly is a privilege.
Love ya sis!

Fall and Spring are both favorite seasons of mine. I think because they both mark a time a change.

I used to knit too! It's been some time but I used to make sweaters and knit tops.

Stephanie,
I love fall too..pumpkin donuts look awesome, but Tim Hortons seems funny because Quebec doesn't get any of the new stuff except for the chicken fajita. Do Canadians not really like Quebec? Por quoi?
P.S. Cute scarf!

I love those October skies. There is no other season like it.

Hey how about that pumpkin spice coffee? Does Tim Hortons have it with some punkin' muffins? Cuz I haven't been to Dunkin Donuts lately to know if they have any.

Rita, I did knit the scarf in the picture. I actually started it last winter but it was sadly forgotten half-way through...but now it's finished! I have some really cozy red yarn I want to use next but I need to learn something other than the knit stitch first.
And hey, I am glad to be your friend and sister in Christ too. :)

Angela, some Canadians, at least in Ontario, are not that crazy about Quebec(ers?)...I have nothing against them though. :)

Penn, the muffins are the best! They even have little toasted pumpkin seeds on top! (I was quite excited to discover this)I don't think we have the pumpkin spice coffee here though...actually I checked the Timmy's web site and it said it's only available in the U.S, but I didn't think there were any Tim Horton's in the U.S...I'm confused! :)

Hey E03, I checked out your winter list and I love your scarf! Now if only I could learn to knit that nicely!

Steph this is where I learned: http://www.knittinghelp.com
There are videos to show you everything you need to know about knitting.

Thanks for that link Rita! When did you learn?
When I was younger my Beppe (dutch grandmother) tried to teach me and so did my Mom but I always seemed to get everything tangled up or my stitches would be too tight...but last year I took it up again. My goal is to be able to knit something as ridiculously complicated as a sweater someday. :)

I learned 2 years ago.

If you learn how to knit a sock, the sweater will be a piece of cake only you'll need tons of patience unless you get a chunky yarn.

You don't have pumpkin spice coffee! Oh, well, you'll have to try some if you ever cross the border again in the fall. I don't know of any Tim Horton's in the U.S. either, but I do go to Dunkin Donuts sometimes. Usually I get a blueberry muffin, sometimes with some espresso.

But when I worked at Cool Beans in Pittsburgh, we sold pumpkin muffins and pumkin spice coffee in the fall, and it was the best.
