Psalm 95:1-7

O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD,
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

For the LORD is a great God
And a great King above all gods,
In whose hand are the depths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are His also.
The sea is His, for it was He who made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.

Come, let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture
and the sheep of His hand.

What an amazing God! What a priviledge to be counted among the "people of His pasture"!

Hey Stephanie - I also love this psalm; I think it maybe my favourite. I don't know if you've heard of them, but Sons of Korah have a great version of it put to music, which really reminded me what a joy it is to know God and to worship him. If you haven't already, you should listen to it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

Kit.

I've been reading through the Psalms as part of my quiet time lately. They are such encouragements! I'm not so much of the "poem" type of person, but God has been encouraging me and convicting me as I've been reading his "poems". :)

You're welcome, Edie! Do you know where I can listen to that song online?

Kendra, I'm glad you've been enjoying the Psalms. I agree that they are so encouraging! And I love how we're moved to worship God through them.
