It may still be green outside, but I'm ready for it. Snow, that is.
I bought winter boots. There is a stash of hot chocolate in the cupboard. My gloves have come out of hiding. And the weather forecast is looking good!
With Christmas getting closer, I'm looking for some new music, and "Marshmallow World" and "Jingle Bells" just won't cut it. So does anyone have suggestions for Christmas CD's that are spiritually encouraging? Old or new favorites, your recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

Our family has really enjoyed "Christmas in Velvet" by the Regeneration Singers. They are an acapella group but sing absolutely beautifully! Their one CD is Christmas hymns/carols and the other is filled with the fun Christmas songs.
we talked about this on my blog:

Hey Stephanie! Sorry I don't have any suggestions but I need to get on that too. I'll let you know if I find something and you do the same. Ok? :)
I have three favorites that I play a lot - my sisters and I always listened to Point of Grace's A Christmas Story when we were younger, and I still love it. I also like Jaci Velasquez's "Christmas" and Steven Curtis Chapman's "All I Really Want for Christmas." Some good CCM standbys. :) Chris Rice also has an instrumental piano Christmas album, I think it's called The Christmas Sessions or The Living Room Sessions: Christmas. Really good and peaceful.
Hey Stephanie -
I read your blog every so often! It's encouraging to me. Thanks for your e-mail a couple weeks ago, BTW. Times have still been difficult, especially with the holidays coming up. So many memories...
Anyway, I really like Eden's Bridge Christmas CD, "Celtic Christmas." It's different and very Christ-honoring.
Hope to "chat" with you soon!
You've inspire me too, I'm thinking about doing my own blog!
Love,
Erika
Thanks for your suggestions everyone!
E03, I had written a couple of those down but completely forgot! Thanks for the reminder.
Erika,
It's good to know that this blog is an encouragement. Thanks for saying hi. I've been thinking and praying about you as the holiday season comes closer.
Let me know if you start that blog!
Talk to you soon. :)
