Last year I decided to try and do a personal retreat each fall, and it's hard to believe it's that time already! (You can check out my posts on that retreat here, here, and here. )
Just in time for my upcoming birthday this year, I found a great resource online that I encourage you to check out as well:
But of course, it would benefit you for any time of personal evaluation. :) I'm planning to journal my way through some of the questions (there are ten main questions but thirty in total) - here are a few samples:
Good stuff huh? Why don't you print the questions out and join me in striving to grow (by grace!) for the glory of God this year?- What's the most important way you will, by God's grace, try to make this year different from last year?
- What is the single biggest time-waster in your life, and what will you do about it this year?
- What one biblical doctrine do you most want to understand better this year, and what will you do about it?

Hi Stephanie! Oh my goodness it has been a long time. I've been having a hard time keeping up with blogging too.
I love your new pictures! Are you a photographer? You take some beautiful photos.
Happy Birthday! or is it belated now? Anyway, I hope it is or was wonderful! Today is my grand-daughter's birthday too.
Much love to you!!
Hi Edie! I do enjoy taking pictures, but it's just a hobby. Thanks for the birthday wishes, and no, you haven't missed it - it's not till the 18th of this month - I'm enjoying my last week of being 24. :)
It was your birthday?! Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dear! I hope your day was fantastic but I trust that this year will be the most amazing ever and that God will give you your heart's desires!
Not till the 18th, Sara - thanks so much!
Happy Birthday, Stephanie! Thank you for pointing readers of this post to those questions--I would like to go through them myself before New Year's Day (as my pastor recommends preparing ahead of time for more likely faithfulness to resolutions to use our "clean slate" wisely).
Thanks "His Sheep"! I'm glad you can benefit from these questions.
